Democrats For Saddham?

Here's an interesting link:

OK, yes, its Fox, so some will say, "Oh, its anti-Democrat anyways."  But I think the facts speak for themselves.

Federal prosecutors are pursuing charges against a man who arranged a trip for three Democratic Congressmen to Iraq prior to the war in late 2002.  Now, you tell me how its supposed to be read when it turns out that the fellow was paid off by Iraqi Intelligence Services through an intermediary, hmm??

I hate the whole Democrats said this, Republicans said that, Bush this, Clinton that, Fox said such and such, CNN reported this that and the other line of rhetoric.  But we must ask the question:  Why was it three Democratic Congressmen?  Why not 2 Dems and a Republican?  Why were three Congressmen who happened to be friendly to anti-war positions and lifting sanctions against Iraq under Hussein taken to Iraq?

And most importantly, if this trip was bankrolled by Iraqi Intelligence Services, just how objective of a view of Iraq and the "plight" of Iraqis was presented?  Hmm???

Just curious, because when last I checked, even American Democratic Congressmen are American and are concerned first and foremost with American interests.  Now we can debate the war in Iraq all day and halfway into next week and there will always be two sides to it.  But when America's elected representatives so paint a tainted picture of where their priorities lie and what their purposes are in being in Washington, it really aggravates me that we ever hear about the Larry Craig's and such.

So let's give it up, CNN--three Congressmen of the United States were given a joy ride by Saddham Hussein himself.  Anything to say, New York Times?  How about my friends at the LA Times?  Hmm???

12th page, beneath the fold I'm guessing.  If that.  Way to live up to the first amendment, guys.
